Neale joined the firm in 2001 after being a sole practitioner for many years. He has had a diverse experience, being involved in most areas of the law during his career. Neale's current focus of work is in estate litigation, conveyancing, probate and small business transactions.
Andrew has followed his father and grandfather into the legal profession, beginning work as an employee solicitor in the family law firm in 1985, having completed his articles in Melbourne. Now a director of Baird and McGregor, Andrew's key focus is on the conveyancing and mortgage areas of the firm.
Andrew is also a director of local finance company Webster Dolilta Finance Limited and Conservation Volunteers Australia
Julian joined the firm in 2005 and was admitted as a director in 2011. Julian is a family lawyer and undertakes the occasional litigation matter. He was admitted in South Africa as a notary public, conveyancer and attorney. In 2001 he was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand.
His interests include his family, sports and woodwork.
Bill began his legal career with Baird & McGregor in 1960, working first as an articled clerk before becoming a partner of the firm in 1962. During his fifty years with Baird and McGregor, Bill has devoted considerable time to community organisations, including his work as a founding member of the Sovereign Hill Board and on the Council of the University of Ballarat.
Now a consultant to the firm, Bill's current focus is on wills and estates, providing ongoing service to the many families to whom he has been a friend and legal advisor for many years.
Leah graduated from Ballarat & Clarendon College in 2005 and studied her Bachelor of Performing Arts/Law at Monash University. She completed her Graduate Diploma of Practical Legal Training at The College of Law and was admitted to the legal profession in April 2013. Leah is now enjoying working in Family Law and a variety of property and commercial matters.
In 2006, she completed her Diploma of Speech & Drama (Teaching) through Trinity College London and still enjoys teaching dance and drama. In her spare time, she loves performing and being involved in all aspects of Performing Arts and is on the BLOC Music Theatre Committee.
Ruby graduated from Ballarat & Clarendon College in 2008 and studied her Bachelor of Arts/Law at Deakin University in Burwood. She completed her Graduate Diploma of Practical Legal Training at The Australian National University.
Ruby now enjoys working primarily in conveyancing, property and a variety of other matters, including estates.
In 2014, she completed a Diploma in Engineering (Jewellery Stream) at the North Melbourne Institute of TAFE and continues to make jewellery in her spare time.
Dale is an accredited specialist in commercial litigation with more than 20 years of experience in commercial dispute resolution, including banking and finance, corporations law, estates and trust law, competition and consumer law and tax litigation. Dale joined Baird & McGregor in January 2016.
